Safeguarding Farmers Livelihoods:

More than 8 lakh farmers benefitted

Over 12.38 crore people have benefitted from relief amounting to Rs. 1,30,185 crores, empowering farmers to recover from losses and continue their agricultural activities with confidence.
In Bidar, more than 5 lakhs farmers have received Rs. 501 crores worth of relief, providing them with crucial support in facing climate uncertainties and protecting their agricultural investments.

In the country, a financial incentive of Rs. 2.2 lakh crores has been provided to 11 crore farmers, while in Bidar, Rs. 556 crores of incentive has been distributed among 4,02,520 farmers.

Farmers have received an 80% increase in the prices of the crops they cultivate. Around 1.50 lakh farmers in the region have sold their various crops

Supply of Fertilizers

The central government provides subsidies to companies. For DAP Rs. 2000 per bag and for Urea Rs. 2400 per bag. As a result, farmers can purchase DAP at Rs. 1350 and Urea at Rs. 262. Sufficient fertilizers are available in the state and the Bidar Lok Sabha constituency to meet the farmers’ needs.

-Rs. 560.70 crores grant for filling 36 lakes of Aura taluk with water.
-Mehkar Eta Irrigation Project with a grant of Rs. 762 crores.
-Rs. 49.50 crores grant for filling the 8 lakes of Alanda taluk with water.
-Ainapur Eta Irrigation Project of Chincholi Taluk with a grant of Rs. 204 crores

In the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government’s administration, the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) proposal of a total of Rs. 264 crores was sent to the central government. Soon, the implementation for the welfare of farmers will commence

In order to facilitate and benefit farmers in the agricultural sector, various labor-intensive tasks such as building bridges, bunds, water tanks for storing and drinking water, and other infrastructure projects will be undertaken. These initiatives will be carried out to provide convenience and benefits to both farmers and the general public in Bidar.

International Millets Fair

As per the honorable Prime Minister’s vision, this year, a proclamation has been made to conduct an extensive Millets Fair. Additionally, through agricultural production institutions, emphasis has been given to the cultivation, usage, and marketing of millets.

Education

For the children who dropped out of school due to some circumstance and to provide higher skill development for students, I have facilitated the approval of the CIPET College in Bidar district. The land has also been approved, and with the state government’s financial support, the construction of the college building has already begun

I am continuously making efforts to begin the construction of the Sainik school in Bidar Nagar. I am hopeful that the approval for the establishment of the Sainik school in Bidar district will be granted soon. This will enhance the educational standards of the children and bring pride to this district.

As per the honorable Prime Minister’s directions, we have organized a district-level MP’s Sports Mega Event, conducting sports competitions at the regional and district levels. Around 30,000 children participated in sports activities. In the upcoming days, I plan to provide further recognition and encouragement to the children who emerged victorious at the district level, fostering their desire to excel

Welfare of the poor

Under this schemes to the total of 11.88 crore houses are provided with water supply in the country.
In the Bidar district, water supply has been provided to 1,83,606 houses out of 3,14,882 houses (58% coverage). Soon, complete water supply will be extended to all houses. 

Free food grain distribution to 80 crore people in the country and Free food grain distribution to 15 lakh beneficiaries in Bidar district

Under the 14th Financial Assistance Scheme, an allocation of Rs. 140 crore has been disbursed to 230 gram panchayats in Bidar.

Under the 15th Financial Assistance Scheme, an allocation of Rs. 165 crore has been disbursed to 230 gram panchayats in Bidar over a period of 2 years.

In the country, 220 crore doses of vaccines have been provided free of cost.
In Bidar, 39,12,928 people have been provided free doses of vaccines.

Translation

In private medical stores, medicines are available for ₹100, while in government pharmacies, medicines are available for just ₹20. A significant number of senior citizens and rural residents in Bidar are benefiting from these affordable medicines.

In the country, 9049 Jan Aushadhi centers have been launched and 20 centers in Bidar district.

In the country, 23.3 crore people have been provided Ayushman Bharat cards, and 15 crore people have been provided free healthcare services.
In Bidar 7 lakh people have been provided Ayushman Bharat cards, and 78 thousand people have been provided free healthcare services.

In Bidar more than 20 thousand urban and rural houses have been approved while in the country, more than 40 million urban and rural houses have been approved under the scheme

Women Empowerment

Women’s empowerment is not just a mere slogan but a reality under the BJP-led government. The protection of women’s health and dignity has been ensured, thanks to the initiatives taken by our Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi Ji’s government

9.6 crore free gas cylinders have been provided to the poor in the country, and each cylinder is subsidized with Rs. 200. In Bidar, 3,55,000 poor BPL (Below Poverty Line) cardholders have been given free LPG cylinders. During the COVID time, a total of 3 cylinders and Rs. 1500 in cash have been deposited to the Women Jan Dhan account.

Pregnant women from poor backgrounds are being provided with a financial incentive of Rs. 5000/- by the central government.
In the country, 3.94 crore pregnant women have been provided with financial incentives. In Bidar, more than 1 lakh pregnant women have received Rs. 45 crore and 20 lakhs as incentives.

In the Muslim community, the relationship was terminated by the system of talaq after marriage, due to which Muslim women were subjected to injustice, we abolished the law of talaq from our country and gave women a life of self-respect and dignity. I am proud that I also supported my voters in the repeal of such a law.

Importance of Millets

In Bidar city, a commendable effort has been made to promote the importance of Millets. The work includes raising awareness among the public about the significance of Millets. Along with this, the contributions of women in the cultivation of millets in the region have been duly recognized and appreciated by Hon’ble Sri Modi Ji, as expressed in his words of praise and admiration.

Through the Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) in the region, the women farmers of Hulasoor Taluk and the Bhoo Thayi Millets Farmers Producer Company in Aland Taluk, together with women of the districts, are engaged in the processing and production of millets. They are involved in the processing of millets, making flour, preparing laddus, making rice rava, preparing kusube oil, making jaggery, turmeric powder, sesame oil, and other essential items. These products are then sold, resulting in transactions worth lakhs of rupees.

“In the country, a total of 11.72 crore toilets have been constructed, and in the Bidar district, 3,45,256 toilets have been built.”
This indicates the significant efforts made towards sanitation and the construction of toilets in India, as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission). The campaign aims to promote cleanliness and eradicate open defecation across the nation.

Basic amenities

Out of Rs. 1544 crores, 145 km stretch of Sangareddy-Mumbai national highway is complete with Rs. 300 crores of funding, and a total of 47 km stretch of Bidar-Humnabad State highway. highway is complete with Rs. 340 crores of funding. In progress are Beed-Kamalanagar highway with Rs. 336 crores of funding for 46 km, and the completion of 2.37 km stretch of Noubad Bypass Road with Rs. 95 crores of funding. The 5 km stretch of Hulasoor-Maharashtra border highway is under construction with Rs. 26 crores of funding. The remaining stretches are under approval stage

In the country, a 64000 km highway has been constructed.
In Bidar a 510 km highway is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 3000 crore.

In the country, 4 lakh km road is being constructed in rural areas.
In Bidar with the grant of 320 Crore 285 km rural roads are under construction
In Bidar 18 roads have been constructed under a grant of Rs. 300 crore from the Central Road Fund (CRF).

In the country, development works are being carried out in 4900 urban areas at a cost of Rs. 37,900 crores. In Bidar city, development works under the Urban Growth and Development Scheme (UGD) are being carried out at a cost of Rs. 325 crores.

– In Bidar city, 13 new trains have been started.
– Bidar – Kalburgi 2 DEMO trains started
– Trains are running from Bidar to Yesvantpur, Mumbai, Tirupati, Shirdi, Machalipatnam, Pandarapur.
– The Bidar-Kalburgi railway line, spanning 37.207 kilometers, was incomplete despite receiving a grant of 150 crores.
– The remaining 73.193 kilometers have been completed in just 3 years with a grant of 1392 crores.
– The Bidar-Nanded railway line project has received approval for Rs. 100 crores as an initial grant out of the total sanctioned grant of Rs. 2354 crores.
– The Kalburgi-Latur road via Aaland new railway line survey has been completed. The preparations for approval are underway.
– As per the public demand, new railway services are being introduced step by step in our Bidar constituency.

In the country, from 2009 to 2014, an average of 5.4 kilometers of railway tracks were laid every day.

From 2014 onwards, an average of 14.3 kilometers of railway tracks are being laid every day. The work is progressing rapidly. A grant of Rs. 100 crores has been approved for the new railway line between Bidar and Nanded.

In 2017, the Passport Seva Kendra (Passport Service Center) was inaugurated at the Bidar city post office. This has enabled approximately 50,000 or more people in our district to have access to passport services.

After becoming an MP, I have been making continuous efforts for six years to overcome all obstacles and hurdles, and I am successful in starting air services from Bidar to Bengaluru.

In Bidar city, with a grant of Rs. 125 crores, the CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) project is progressing. The work involves providing gas connections through pipelines to each household. In the coming days, there will be no need for people to book gas cylinders as the project advances.

Significant growth in the industrial sector

With special attention, a total of 273 new companies have been established in the Bidar lokhasabha constituency from 2014-15 to 2022-23, generating 2595 new job opportunities. These companies have collectively brought in investments worth Rs. 373 crores.

K.N. Farm Equipments Private Limited has taken the initiative to establish a manufacturing unit for agricultural equipment with a total investment of 115 crores. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were delays in the initial stages, but efforts are being made to restart the project.

In 185 Gram Panchayat clusters, 97,749 women members have been provided with a community livelihood support fund of Rs. 30.5 crore. As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan,’ womens in the constituency have made 1,17,000 national flags, which is remarkable.

In various schemes of nationalzed banks, self-help groups of women, and young entrepreneurs have been provided with loan and financial assistance.

Global Investors Meet, Bengaluru

At the Global Investors Meet held in Bangalore, various companies have pledged investments of Rs. 10 lakh crores, which will lead to the establishment of new industries in our district’s Humnabad and Bidar industrial regions as well.

In our area, many young individuals have started around ten small startup companies in the tech sector, providing employment to hundreds of people. Alongside these, there are also large companies that cater to both beneficial and non-beneficial aspects for their employees.

Loans have been provided to 34.45 lakh street vendors in the Bidar constituency, benefiting 22,258 street vendors


The government has constructed the Employees’ Hospital in the Kolar Industrial Area for the welfare of the employees of Bidar district.

In the Kolar Industrial Area, construction of C.E.T.P is underway with a grant of Rs. 40 crore. It will enable the purification and recycling of chemical effluents and wastewater discharged by industries, promoting reuse.

A Rs. 10 crore grant has been utilized to construct an Auto Cluster in Nauabad Autonagar. Here, services related to mechanics and automotive can be accessed, offering facilities for automobile-related businesses.

With the people of Bidar in all walks of life

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when youths of Bidar were stranded in Kuwait, they were brought back to the country within a week. The youth, with grateful hearts, expressed their gratitude to the country’s leaders for the respectful and honorable repatriation.

 

I have been in constant communication with the youth in Kuwait during the COVID-19 situation, providing them with encouragement and support. Daily contact with doctors helped in obtaining information about medicines, vaccinations, and availability of medical supplies. Additionally, we have facilitated the establishment of oxygen plants in seven hospitals in the region with the support of the central government

 

In the region, 110 battery-operated vehicles, 137 three-wheeler cycles, and 600 hearing aids have been provided for the benefit of differently-abled individuals. Additionally, artificial limb fitting has been facilitated for those who have lost their hands and legs.

Through fake agents, many of our people have faced troubles while going abroad for education and employment. I have brought back more than 100 individuals from my constituency who were stuck in difficult situations abroad. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when some of our youth were stranded in Kuwait, I remained in constant contact with the Ministry of External Affairs and ensured their safe repatriation to the country.

In recognition of Shri Shah Raseed Ahmad Khadri’s efforts to preserve and promote Bidari art, and for being honored with the prestigious Padma Shri Award, a felicitation ceremony was organized in Bidar city to celebrate and honor his achievements

In Hulsoor taluk, the following villages are included: Saigangav, Pandri, Alavai, Yallammavadi, Attarga, Manikeshwar, Gunjarga, Shreemali, Toogangav (H), Kesarajavallagav, Mehkar, Bolegav, Naradasangam, Vanjarakhed, Jamkhandi, and Kongali. Additionally, a total of 19 new villages, including Ghatboral, Jamanagar, and Tanda in Humanabad taluk, have been included.

I have provided more than 3 crore worth of assistance to the people in the constituency who are affected by cancer, kidney, heart-related ailments, and liver problems, through the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

For the preservation of religion, country, and culture

After assuming office as the respected Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modiji, our glorious heritage and rich culture have spread across the world. All nations are embracing our culture, respecting our traditions, and more than 180 countries have endorsed the observance of International Day of Yoga, which has been a successful endeavor.

The construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, the Somnath Deva̅laya, the Ahalyabai Holkar Smarak, the Ramanujacharya Smarak, and other temples and religious institutions in Hyderabad have been developed and improved.

For the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, contributions were also collected from Muslims

Under the Prasad Yojana, an approved grant of Rs. 5 crore has been allocated for the development of the Papannash temple in the Bidar city.
Additionally, the state government has sanctioned an approved grant of Rs. 14 crores 95 lakhs for the development of temples in the Bidar district

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Ji’s 150th birth anniversary, a 9-day padyatra was organized in 112 villages to commemorate his life, principles, and sacrifices for the freedom struggle. The Gandhi Sankalp Yatra aimed to educate people about Mahatma Gandhiji’s biography and ideals, and it concluded with presenting a report to the Honorable Prime Minister

For the preservation of religion, country, and culture

The people of the region take immense pride in contributing to the nation’s progress and development through their hard work and dedication. On several occasions, they have met with the individuals and families to understand their concerns and engage in meaningful discussions to address their hardships and be a part of their struggles.

The country has completed 75 years of independence, and in this historical context, the celebration of “Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” has been conducted with fervor and enthusiasm across various sectors to commemorate the journey of freedom.

Participating in the chanting of Hanuman Chalisa and expressing strength and devotion. The Basava Jayanti celebration held in Mumbai allowed people to embrace Basavanna’s teachings and messages.

Veera Putra Shri Manohar Rao Kashinath Rathod, who was injured in the Pulwama attack, and his family were honored. The heroic warrior from Halol Taluka, Vaded, was enquired about his health and honored.

Successfully increased the pension of postal employees

After becoming a Member of Parliament for the first time, I spoke about increasing the pension for postal workers in the parliamentary session and requested the Hon’ble Prime Minister and the esteemed government for the same. My heartfelt appeal to the government was successful, and they have increased the pension of postal workers by threefold. In this context, the postal workers from my constituency honored me, and through this gesture, they conveyed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and the government of our country.

I am proud of our district’s farmer’s son, who, with dedication, honesty, and wide acceptance, serves as a central minister in the esteemed leadership of Shri Narendra Modi ji. I believe that you all take pride in his accomplishments. He carries out his responsibilities with the trust of the people and the belief in his capabilities. I am committed to serving you all as your representative, and as a Central Cabinet Minister, I strive to work for the welfare of the nation. The advice I have given and the work I have undertaken as a Central Cabinet Minister for the progress of the country are mentioned here for your information.

Pradhan Mantri Januashadi Pariyojana

– The Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) was launched by the government in November 2008 with the aim of making quality generic medicines available to everyone at affordable prices.

– PMBJP centers have been opened in all districts across the country, providing access to around 1800 medicines and 285 surgical items.

– In the last 8 years, the sales have increased by 150 percent, with an average annual growth of about 30% in recent years.

– To make the scheme more attractive, the incentive given to the center owners has been increased from Rs. 2.50 lakhs to Rs. 5.00 lakhs (maximum of Rs. 15,000 per month).

– Additionally, women, SC, ST, and aspirational districts or northeastern states’ entrepreneurs opening stores are provided a one-time incentive of Rs. 2 lakhs for the purchase of computers and furniture.
